Christy's Wade Style Saddle

This saddle was made for a good friend. She does a lot of trail riding and wanted a saddle that is functional but also good looking. Her horse is gaited and he is hard to fit. The tree was custom made for him and it fit him very good. He was a comfortable horse! The leather is Chestnut colored and has dark brown antique finishing to bring out the tooling. It's partially rough out and of course partially tooled. There are multiple different kinds of flowers in this design and it gave it an interesting look. The horn is rawhide bound and it's wrapped with mulehide (not real mulehide, it's just the name of the fininsh on the leather). The stirrups are stainless steel wrapped Visalia style, stirrups leathers feature a nevada twist. A crupper ring was added, hardware is by Stohlman. Conchos are sterling overlay and a custom concho was added on back with initials. Rigging is "in skirt" style. Seat 15".

This is a cute saddle.
