This gorgeous saddle is for sale. It's pretty fancy as you can see. It has a 16" dark bown sued eseat, lots of custom sterling silver overlay accented with genuine turquoise nuggets. It's built with Herman Oak Leather dyed tan with dark brown background dye. The antique finish is medium brown. The edges feature stainless steel spots. The horn, gullet and cantle have a rope edge. I felt the drop down stirrup plates were a nice finishing touch. Not quite tapaderos but fancy. The saddle is built on an SF Bowman full quater horse tree made by Bill Bean, NW bars, 7/8 flat plate rigging, 6.5" gullet, 4" round low mex horn, 2.75" wide stirrup leathers. It's sturdy & beautiful!
This saddle was entered in the 2015 ACM - Art of the Cowboy Makers contest in Las Vegas. It won both the Peoples Choice award and the Roper Cowboy Marketplace & Group W award. That was a nice Christmas gift indeed!
There is a matching beaded headstall available - sold separately. This is a very unique "one of a kind" saddle. More information and photos available upon request. Please contact before purchasing. $5,900.00
